A VISIT TO PPSPPA, E-IDAMAN & WASTE DISPOSAL CENTER

9 April 2013-A total of 30 students from Environmental Engineering and Management programme as well as SIG Construction have organized visit to the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (PPSPPA) to enhance knowledge in the subject taught. This was held for the purpose of providing disclosure to students about the management and the actions carried out by the PPSPPA and E-Idaman.

The visit provided exposure and knowledge to students regarding solid waste management. Students also learnt the methods used by the E-Idaman in disposing solid waste. In addition, students were also given exposure on handling machinery in solid waste disposal. The programme provided beneficial experience for the students.
